Yes. Every box lists the vegetables included that week, and you can swap up to two items for alternatives from the same family. Carrots, beets, radishes, and leafy greens are the usual base, but the exact mix follows what is ready in the field.
Seedlings ship in compostable trays with their roots wrapped in damp paper, and the outer packaging is home-compostable too. If a seedling arrives damaged, send a photo within 48 hours and we will replace it in the next delivery round.
Carrots and beets keep longest in a fridge crisper with a damp cloth over the tops, and radishes last about a week. Leafy greens should be rinsed, dried, and stored in a loosely closed bag. Each box includes a recipe card that matches that week's harvest, so nothing sits unused.
Yes, the soil-testing kit and compost starter are sized for containers and balcony beds. The test takes about ten minutes and tells you pH and basic nutrient levels, while the compost starter works in a small bin or a worm tower. The guide on the kit page explains how to read the results.
You can pause a subscription from your account page before the weekly cutoff, which is 48 hours before packing. There are no fees for pausing, and you can resume whenever you want. If you need help, write to us at info@lecridelacarotte.com and we will sort it out.
