From seed selection and harvest windows to packing day and delivery routes, here is the step-by-step rhythm behind every weekly box we send out.
From seed selection to doorstep delivery, here are the practical terms that shape every box we pack.
Each produce box is scheduled around local harvest windows. We pack on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and your box arrives the same day. If you miss the cutoff, your order moves to the next available window rather than being rushed out of season.
We do not promise specific vegetables on specific dates. Carrots, beets, radishes, and leafy greens rotate based on what is ready. The recipe cards in your box match that week's actual harvest, so you cook with what arrives, not with a fixed menu.
Our small, medium, and family boxes are defined by the number of portions and variety of items, not by a guaranteed weight. A wet week can mean heavier roots; a dry spell can mean smaller ones. The portion count stays consistent.
We pack in compostable materials, but not everything is home-compostable. The outer liner needs an industrial facility, while the inner wrap and ties break down in a backyard pile. Each box includes a small note explaining what goes where.
Pickup orders are ready at our Guwahati packing station between 4 and 6 pm on packing days. Delivery orders follow a fixed neighborhood route and arrive in a two-hour window. We do not offer same-day rerouting once the van leaves.
Vegetable seedlings are labeled by growth stage, such as first true leaves or ready to transplant. This tells you how much hardening off is needed before they go into a balcony pot or garden bed. Height varies by variety and season.
A week-by-week look at how your produce box comes together, from the moment you place an order to the day you pull fresh carrots out of the bag.
You pick your box size and delivery day, and we confirm your pickup or delivery slot. If you ordered a soil-testing kit, it ships within two days so you can check pH and nutrient levels before planting season starts.
Our growers match your box contents to the current harvest window. Heirloom carrot varieties, beet seedlings, and leafy greens are selected based on what will be ready in time for your scheduled delivery date.
Seedlings are transplanted into prepared beds or containers. You receive a short care note with watering schedules and companion planting suggestions, so your balcony or garden bed stays on track.
Root vegetables are pulled at their peak, washed, and packed in compostable materials. Recipe cards for that week's harvest are tucked into each box, with storage tips for keeping carrots and beets crisp.
Your box arrives at your chosen pickup point or doorstep. Leafy greens go straight to the fridge, while root vegetables can rest in a cool spot. The recipe card tells you what to cook first.
We ask for a quick note on what worked and what you'd like more of. Your preferences shape the next box, and you can adjust box size, delivery day, or swap items before the next harvest window closes.
